The IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 is the seventeenth edition of the competition which will be held in the Middle East for the first time. More specifically will be held in the Qatari capital Doha, where 3,500 athletes, officials and coaches will become part of the biggest ever sporting event to be held in the region.

The World Championships will see a world first, with a midnight marathon taking place along Doha’s Corniche, against the backdrop of the city’s impressive skyscrapers, whilst the majority of athletes will compete in the impressive all-seater Khalifa International Stadium.

Athletes from 213 countries will compete across 49 events during the ten days which get underway from Friday 27 September to Sunday 6 October.

Ticketmaster will be once again present, as tickets will be available via our ticketing platform. With less than 100 days left until the opening ceremony, visit now their website and book your tickets HERE

For a quite long period, Qatar has become a pioneer player in sports events by undertaking major sport championships and finals, not only in athletics, but also in tennis, handball and football. These all will part of the country’s preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

We, in Ticketmaster, wish every success to both the athletes and the organising committees to deliver great games and have satisfied spectators.
